Paid Survey Scams - How To Avoid Paid Survey Scam
Sites
Paid survey scam sites are currently very popular amongst search engines,
and so it is very possible that if you search for paid surveys on a site
like Google you will probably find links to a paid survey scam website
A
paid survey scam site usually consists of what appears to be a normal paid
survey type website; a page which contains information on earning money from
answering surveys online, with a link to apply to the program. However the
paid survey scam sites will ask you for some kind of a payment for this
information, or will charge you for membership of the paid survey website.
Usually if you do give any money to a paid survey website you will just
get passed on to another paid survey website, which would have been free to
join anyway. The scam sites would probably get money for referring you as a
new customer, as well as the fee that they charged you for this information.
The best way to avoid paid survey scams is to simply not pass on any
money to the survey websites. If they ask you for a payment to receive the
survey information, or a membership fee then simply don’t sign up; find
another paid survey website to join. You need to think about paid survey
sites in a different way with regards to scam sites. Why would any reputable
paid survey website ask for a payment for you to join their website?
Paid survey websites make money from every person that signs up to their
site, and who goes on to complete surveys. The information obtained from the
surveys gets sold on to companies carrying out their market research.
Therefore the more people they get to complete the surveys, the more money
the paid survey website can expect to earn. This raises the same question
again; why would any paid survey website ask for a payment for you to join
their website? Obviously if its free than more people are going to use that
survey site, and so the survey site is going to make much more money. The
answer is that no paid survey websites will charge you to join – unless it
is a paid survey scam site.
Whenever you search for a paid survey website to join remember to notice
the obvious signs of a scam site. Avoid the sites that ask for credit card
details or any other payment details before you join, and stay clear of the
sites that request any money up front. Make sure you only join the survey
sites that are completely free to use, as these will be the best, most
reputable paid survey websites of them all.
