Get Paid For Surveys - Can I Really Make Money With Free Survey Sites?
from: Alan LimWho pays for surveys?
In order to get paid for surveys, you will need to sign up with one or
more of the businesses that buy surveys directly or with a broker who
handles a number of different survey takes and clients. The businesses
that pay for surveys need the information for any of many different
reasons. For example, they may want to see how well a recent marketing
campaign in your area is working. They may want to test a new product
before a full launch. Or, they may be looking for consumer responses to
a new or existing product.
How much can I earn?
In order to get paid for surveys, you must gain access to surveys that
are available. This can sometimes mean signing up with a listing site
so that you know which surveys are available. The surveys are sometimes
filtered for certain areas, geographically, gender, age or other
characteristics. If you meet the determinants, payment is further
defined by the type of survey, how long it takes to complete it and
other factors set by the purchasing company. Completed surveys for
businesses can pay in cash, coupons, products, or sweepstakes entries,
depending upon the business.
What do I need to get started?
Essentially, you need almost nothing to get started and get paid for
surveys. A computer is almost certainly needed. Although there are
paper surveys, they are harder to find today with the emphasis on
electronic data transmission found on the internet. Your computer must
have a dependable internet connection. A faster speed is better than
dial up, but even the slower connection speeds found on telephone lines
will allow you to get online and start earning good money completing
the surveys. For your own physical comfort, find a place to locate your
work so that you are not sitting on a bed or the floor in order to use
the keyboard. This means a ergonomically correct chair and desk.
Can I work from home?
Yes, you can get paid for surveys working from your home. In fact, this
is an almost ideal home work opportunity. It doesn't require fancy
equipment; you don't need a supervisor or editor. Your opinions are
what are being collected. You don't need a college education and
certainly working from home is less expensive than commuting. By
working from home, you can set your own schedule and you can also pick
and choose the type of surveys that you want to work on.
How difficult is the work?
Generally, when you choose to get paid for surveys, the work is quite
simple. You are not required to do extensive research in order to mark
the answers on the survey. In most instances, the survey deals with
your response and experience with certain products or services being
reviewed by the company. You often will be asked to mark on a scale the
level of your knowledge or satisfaction with the product based on a
range of options. There are some surveys which track the results of
more in-depth product reviews, but the ease of the work is still well
within the range of the average person.
