Paid Surveys - Tips On Taking Paid Surveys
from: Michael RussellIf you're going to try to make a side income from taking paid surveys
on the Internet, there are a few things that you're going to want to do
in order to get the most out of your efforts. Otherwise, you're
just going to end up spinning your wheels and not get anywhere.
Trust me on this one. You definitely need a game plan when
attacking those surveys.
The first thing you must understand is that you are never going to get
rich from taking surveys. They just don't pay enough. You'd
have to join more survey sites and take more surveys in a day than are
physically possible to make anything even close to a living wage.
So get that idea out of your mind right from the start. Paid
surveys will give you a side income and that's about it.
The next thing you have to do when taking paid surveys is look for
survey sites that pay in cash and cash only. You don't want to
bother with sites that pay you in sweepstakes and discounts on products
and services unless you're interested in those kind of things. If
you're primarily looking to make an income from doing this, you don't
want to bother with those sites. You can use sites that pay in
points that you can trade in for cash but find out what the exchange
rate is on those points. You don't want to waste your time on a
survey site that pays only a few dollars for a ridiculous amount of
points. You want your hourly pay to come out to at least $5 an
hour. You're not going to get much more than that.
The next thing you want to do when taking paid surveys is be honest
with your screening questions. These are questions that many
sites will ask you before they actually give you a survey to
take. The purpose of these screening questions is to find out if
you're in the right demographic for the survey they're offering.
While this may not seem important, it is. If the survey is
targeting women who do most of the food shopping in the house, they
don't want to give that survey to the man of the house. So don't
lie on the screening question and say you're a woman. Besides,
you won't know what the screening is for anyway before taking the
survey so you wouldn't know what the "right" answers are anyway.
Many people try to fool the system. In other words, they take
guesses at what they're looking for. Trust me, this never works
and you'll just be wasting your time.
The next thing you want to do when taking a paid survey is actually
read all the questions and not just check off a single row. Not
all the questions will fall into a certain answer range. If the
survey company sees that you're doing this and believe me they'll find
out, they will either remove you from the system or they'll stop
sending you surveys altogether.
Like I said, you can make a few bucks taking surveys, but the key is to
be honest. In the long run, if you're not, they'll find out and
you'll lose any chance of making any income at all.
